Dikker & Thijs Hotel is housed in a beautiful historical building at the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. Within 5 minutes you find yourself at the Kerkstraat, and the Reguliersdwarsstraat is not much further. The hotel has non-smoking rooms with free WiFi. There are also a gym and a restaurant. Poppodium the Milky Way and the DelaMar theater are both within 200 meters of Dikker & Thijs Hotel. The tram practically stops at the doorstep of the hotel and takes you within ten minutes to the Central Station, or to the Museumplein which includes the Stedelijk Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. Always greeted you with a smile and happy to answer questions. It was a great location, very centralized to walk to every point of interest.

Location was great not only in terms of the location in the city but there is also easy access to public transportation. The room was nice and with comfortable beds.

What a great experience. Everything was so great. The room was way bigger than I could have imagined. The service was impressive. Dinner was late and they gave me a complimentary bottle of wine to make up for it.

Excellent hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. The penthouse room is amazing, what a view! Would highly recommend.
