Amistad Hotel is a small hotel with basic facilities at an excellent location in Amsterdam. The hotel is located closely to several gay bars & clubs and music hall De Melkweg. From Amistad Hotel it is easy to visit other parts of the city. From the nearest tram stop it is just ten minutes to both the central train station as to the Museum Square. On the Museum Square you can find the Rijksmuseum, the Van Goghmuseum and the Concertgebouw-hall. The Amistad is also nearby the 9-Straatjes (9 streets), a shopping area packed with unique shops, small bars and restaurants.
Host Mike extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. Helped out with local information and tour spots.

The room was very clean, the staff were cleaning the room daily. Quite atmosphere, pleasant staff, rich breakfast, very good location in the city and easy checking in and out.

The location is amazing. It's right near a tram stop. You're right in the middle of the action. Michael, the host makes a beautiful homemade breakfast to your liking. He is extremely friendly.
