Perfect place to stay Very big room with beautiful view. Bathroom is very clean. Staff was really helpfull and kind. We really recommend this hotel. You have to feel this.

The hotel was, natch, empty but, by God and all the heavenly choir, the staff were a delight. Markus, Polina and a bald man whose name I did not catch but whose charm and good grace stood out a mile. Indeed, I felt I was at an Afghan wedding headed by a Liberal as I could actually see no-one, female or male. But I could detect smiles and the staff at this might hotel were always smiling through the muslin. I have stayed in millions of hotels, from the top to the bottom. The Excelsior is in the top two. A marvellous, comfortable, brilliant, out-to-lunch outstanding hotel. Bravo.
