Kivotos Santorini

Kivotos Santorini is in Imerovigli, on the west side of Santorini. The hotel sits on the caldera, offering direct views of the Aegean Sea. You stay in suites and villas, each with a private pool or hot tub. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, and a spa. A fitness center is also available.

Imerovigli is quiet but close to Fira, the island’s main town. You can walk there in about 30 minutes or drive in 10. Oia, famous for sunsets, is a 20-minute drive away. Skaros Rock, a well-known viewpoint, is within walking distance. You can also visit the Archaeological Museum of Thera in Fira.

Several gay-friendly places are near Kivotos Santorini. Tropical Bar in Fira is about 3 km away. It is a small bar with an open terrace. Koo Club, also in Fira, welcomes all visitors and has an outdoor area. Crystal Bar, another spot in Fira, plays music until late at night.

Santorini does not have a dedicated gay area, but Fira is the most open-minded part of the island. You reach it in about 10 minutes by car. Most gay visitors stay in different parts of the island but go to Fira for nightlife.

Public buses and taxis connect Imerovigli with Fira and Oia. Many visitors rent a car or an ATV for more flexibility. The airport is about 8 km away, and the ferry port is 10 km away. You can arrange transfers through the hotel.

During your stay, you can explore Santorini’s beaches, wineries, and boat tours to the volcano. You can also visit Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan site, about 12 km from the hotel.
