The location is definitely a strong point of this place. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of different options available. The staff was friendly and the room was cozy. The room was hot (went during summer) but nothing that wouldn't be solved by opening the windows.

The hotel was amazing, the room with a doublebed was small but this made it really cozy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfastroom in the conservatory is comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed our two nights very much.

Old building with lots of character and filled with African artifacts. Staff very friendly and helpful. Never got to try the breakfast as sleeping 12 hours a day after a stressful few weeks selling my house and escaping from Brexit Britain. Room a little cold but not enough to complain about. I am sure they would have sorted it out if I had asked.

First, the Rex is being renovated, so I was moved to the Hellsten Hotel across the street. The pictures look similar, so maybe they're of this hotel. The location is perfect, just steps from the Radamangatan Tbahn and walking distance to everything in Norrmalm. Breakfast was excellent, a fresh, varied buffet of everything you could imagine. Breakfast also lasted a long time, until 11 on weekends, and there wasn't this rush for you to leave. The staff were extra friendly and helpful, and I liked the coffee and tea machine in the lobby. The historic building is also very nice. Steadily reliable wifi. Keep in mind the single room is kind of a "micro-room", so it is very, very tiny. I thought it was quite cozy and an excellent value, but this could be a problem for someone who needs more space.
