Hotel The Clarence is situated at an excellent location in Dublin, close to the Gratton Bridge. Interesting fact: some members of the band U2 are the owners of the hotel. The Clarence has excellent facilities, spacious and attractive rooms and friendly and helpful staff. One of the facilities worth mentioning is the so-called therapy zone, here you can pamper yourself with massages and aroma treatments. Because The Clarence is located at a central location in Dublin, different sights and shopping streets are within walking distance of the hotel. Gay bars such as PantiBar (on the other side of the river) and Street 66 and gay clubs such as Daddi and Mother are a five to ten-minute walk away from The Clarence.
Pablo and Theresa are the friendly faces who met me at the door. Emilio at the bar dialed it in. Quaint, clean, modern, crisp beds, good shower, great towels, social vibe. We'll done really. I’ve tried other local places. . . . This is my spot from now on.
