There are several Radisson Blu hotels in London, all very suitable for gays travelers. The advantage of the Radisson Blue Edwardian, Mercer Street is that this hotel is situated in Covent Garden very close to Soho, where you will find many, many gay venues. To Old Compton Street for example it is only a five minute walk. The relatively small standard rooms are more than compensated by the great service, friendly staff and excellent location of the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street. The hotel features next to the well-kept rooms, a gym a good restaurant and of course a bar.
Two night stay in hotel to celebrate 60th birthday. Due to travelling to London overnight, we arrived at 9.30am. Hotel staff had room ready and had also upgraded our room to a premier on the 7th floor…great start! All staff throughout our stay were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, modern in look with a nice view out over Covent Garden. Breakfast was lovely - good choice in hot and cold options. Really highly recommend this hotel - we had a great time in London in no small part to staff and hotels great location. Already talking about a longer visit next summer!
